Each year the Daytona Beach News Journal holds the Community Choice Awards where the community not only populate the list, but they also vote for their favorites. There are over 170 categories filled with local businesses that made the list based on nominations taken in the March nomination round.
This honor can be a real boost for local small business owners and employees by having a greater visibility in the community.
As a small business owner, I rely on customer feedback to improve my business and we rely on customer referrals (otherwise known as word-of-mouth advertising). And reviews are very helpful also.
Our small company has been nominated this year and it would be an honor, after 32 years, to be recognized for our contribution.

The voting round starts on May 17 through May 31. Once all the votes are counted, the winners are announced in August. So, rally your friends, family and community, and let’s make this year’s program the best ever!
