This is a message for our business and private clients who may own a domain name for a website. The letter below is out in the mail again trying to trick you into believing that it is necessary to pay them 228.00. It shows up as an invoice (request for payment) making it look like it is something that you have.

PLEASE DO NOT SEND THIS COMPANY MONEY! Domain Listings is a fake company which preys on businesses who think they need to pay a fee to be listed on the internet for their business’s website.

Each year when I receive this letter in the mail I try to make others aware and to keep them from losing the funds.

It would appear that I am not alone.

Art Unlimited is a company that also tries to illuminate the world on the scams that exist. Please read this blog post from their website and share this post to help others. You have no idea how many customers this has effected over the years.

UPDATE: a second version of domain scamming is also being mailed. This one states that you will be SWITCHING your domain to them. Understand this will not really happen and they will keep your money.

It's horrible that the government is aware of it yet for over 10 years this company has still managed to steal money from unsuspecting people. Stay safe.
